Notice of Leadership Transition

Last Saturday, the SINvACC staff team gathered for our Q2 Quarterly Meeting — a special occasion made even more significant as we marked the handover of leadership of the vACC.

Please join me in congratulating Eugene Lee for completing a successful term as Singapore’s vACC Director! Eugene has served as Director for over 15 years, the longest serving staff member on the team, and instrumental in guiding our vACC through the years. For maintaining this space so that we may all participate in this hobby today, we thank him for his service. He will remain in our community as VATSEA Director, an active controller, as well as a valued contributor behind the scenes.

With effect from today, April 1st 2025, Ng Wee Kiat will be taking over the role of vACC Director (ACCSGP1). Please join me in welcoming him to his new responsibilities, and please continue to lend your support to him over the course of his term! You can read more about Wee Kiat’s experiences and future plans in his statement attached below. This will be a major transition, but our core philosophy here remains the same. We’re business as usual, just with a different pair of eyes making sure things continue to run smoothly.
