Take control of the virtual skies to ensure the Safe, Orderly and Expeditious flow of aircraft movement in the Singapore Flight Information Region (FIR) and work together with a high-trained team of online professionals.
Trainees will undergo a series of training and tests to ensure that the requirements laid out by the VATSIM Global Rating Policy is met as well as to local procedures which includes a challenging tight and congested airspace.

Requirements
Requirements of SINvACC
To be part of the Singapore vACC ATC Team, you are required to:
Be able to speak good english
Be a teamplayer
Understand the local procedures in the vACC
Be able to handle mental pressure
Adapt to unusual situation
Have a good working microphone
Be able to commit for training
Be personally responsible for your training progress
Visiting Controllers are required to have a rating of Senior Student (S3) or higher with a letter of recommendation sent by your vACC/Division Staff.
Training
Training Procedures of SINvACC
New Resident Controlllers will undergo a Basic Air Traffic Control Course (BAC) which will develop and engance your basic understanding of being an Air Traffic Controller.
Students will undergo 8 training modules, after which a theory examination will take place.
Upon completion of the BAC, sutdents will undergo the Student 1 (S1) theory examination to attain their S1 rating. Thereafter, a mentor will be assigned who will guide you through your journey as a Virtual Air Traffic Controller.

Register a VATSIM Account: https://cert.vatsim.net/vatsimnet/signup.html
Select “Asia” followed by “Southeast Asia (VATSEA)” during registration.
If you already have an account, proceed to step 2
Step 2
Proceed to the VATSEA HQ.
Step 3
Open a Support Ticket to Singapore vACC Staff
Insert your ticket title as “ATC Application”.
Answer the following questions in your application. Applications without any of the following information will automatically be rejected.

How much time per month can you commit to the training provided by SINvACC?

As part of the Conflict of Interest Declaration process, please declare if you have or had any social relationships with anyone in SINvACC? (Y/N). If yes, please advise your relationship.
Note that this does not allow you to control just yet. Training must be completed.
