Dear all,
It is with a mix of anticipation for the future and reflection on the past that I announce a significant transition in our leadership. Effective 15 August 2024, I will be stepping down as the Deputy Director of Singapore vACC, and the reins of this esteemed position will be handed over to none other than Ng Wee Kiat.
Wee Kiat, as many of you know, is a stalwart in our community. His dedication, acumen, and unwavering commitment to excellence have been pivotal in the ongoing development and success of our vACC. His leadership journey, marked by a clear vision and an ability to inspire those around him, has made him the natural choice to take on this crucial role. Wee Kiat’s tenure with us has been nothing short of exemplary, and I have every confidence that his transition into the Deputy Director position will usher in a new era of growth and innovation for Singapore vACC.
My decision to step down from the Deputy Director role has not been made lightly. Serving this community in such a capacity has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional journey. However, after much introspection, I believe it is time for fresh leadership to take the helm, bringing with it new perspectives and ideas that will undoubtedly propel us to greater heights. Though I am stepping down from this role, I want to reassure you that my commitment to Singapore vACC remains steadfast. In the interim, I will continue to serve as the Training Director, ensuring that our standards of training and operational excellence are upheld, and that our controllers are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their duties.
Wee Kiat’s appointment as Deputy Director comes at a time when our vACC is poised for further growth and development. His extensive experience in leadership roles, both within Singapore vACC and beyond, makes him uniquely qualified to guide our community through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. His ability to foster collaboration, coupled with his deep understanding of our operational needs, will be instrumental in driving our mission forward. Under his leadership, I am confident that Singapore vACC will continue to thrive, building on the strong foundation we have all worked so hard to establish.
As I prepare to step back from the Deputy Director role, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. The achievements we have realized together are a testament to the dedication, hard work, and passion of our entire team. It has been an honor to lead such a talented and committed group of individuals, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished.
Looking ahead, I am excited to see how Singapore vACC will evolve under Wee Kiat’s guidance. His leadership, combined with the collective efforts of our team, promises to bring about a dynamic and prosperous future for our vACC. While my role may be changing, my support for this community remains unwavering, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to our shared success in my capacity as Training Director.
Please join me in congratulating Ng Wee Kiat on his well-deserved appointment as Deputy Director. I have no doubt that he will excel in this new role, leading Singapore vACC to even greater achievements. Let us all offer him our full support as he steps into this new chapter of leadership.
Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to Singapore vACC. Together, we will continue to reach new heights.
Sincerely,
Isaac Tan
Deputy Director (Until 15 August 2024)
